Meet Your TeachersLola GómezHi everyone, I´m Lola. I am from a small northern region of Spain called Cantabria. My mother tongue is Spanish and for the past few years I have been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language (ELE). Before beginning work as a teacher, I obtained a degree in business administration and worked in management positions with private companies. However, my true passion is the Spanish language and culture and helping others who want to learn and study it, which is why I decided to obtain a master’s degree in ELE, and take a course to become a Spanish online tutor developed by the Instituto Cervantes (AVE). I have completed many specialized courses in order to offer you the highest quality language teaching. My philosophy as a Spanish teacher is that learning Spanish should be fun and interesting. We have a lot of resources to help make our learning sessions fun and engaging, including Spanish cinema, songs, literature, theater and press. These tools will help as we steadily cover everything from grammar to pronunciation. I will help you progress to talk and write in Spanish correctly, understand movies in their original version and improve your self-confidence when speaking. In my spare time I enjoy going on walks with my dog, relaxing on the beach, reading, cooking or meditating. I love to meet new people from everywhere, to travel, to try new things and I look forward to getting to know you! Hope to hear from you soon! Lola Sergio LlorensHello all, I´m Sergio! I am a Spanish teacher since many years. I studied Spanish Philology at the University of Valencia. I also studied the CAP (Spanish studies to become a teacher). A language is something that you can learn in a creative and pleasant way: through music, songs, movies, and, of course, grammar. I really enjoy teaching my language to students of different cultures. It is very enriching for me. Sharing cultures is a good way to grow as a person. Spanish is not really a difficult language. It is just a language that needs motivation, passion and effort. Anyone can learn it, no matter what age they are. I am here to help you along. I hope we can meet each other very soon. Greetings, Sergio MoisésHi everyone! My name is Moisés. I am a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language. I live in Madrid, the capital of Spain. I have always wanted to work as a teacher of languages. That is the reason why I studied English Philology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and did a master’s degree in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language at the University of Cantabria. I have also completed a course for training tutors developed by Aula Virtual Cervantes (Instituto Cervantes) in order to specialize in online teaching. I love doing different kinds of sports, especially tennis and football, walking my dogs, hiking with my friends and watching good movies. What I like most about my job is that it gives me the possibility to get to know people from different parts of the world and to share with them the passion I feel for my language and culture. I think that, in order to learn a language, the most important thing is to set realistic objectives. I´m going to help you to find out about them and to set them. Do not hesitate, whether for work, studies or just pleasure, go ahead and learn Spanish. I will be here helping you at any time. I´m looking forward to seeing you! Moisés |
